Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
This policy explains what PromptLab collects and why. It is written for launch and should be reviewed by counsel for your jurisdictions before general availability.
What we collect
- Account data: email, name and avatar from Google sign-in or the email you register with.
- Workspace content: prompts, reference media you upload, generated outputs, ratings and notes.
- Usage and billing: a ledger of credit grants and charges, model usage, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We never see or store full card numbers; Stripe handles payment details.
- Technical data: request logs and error reports needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use it
- To run generations on your behalf: prompts and reference media are sent to the model provider you selected.
- To bill you and to show you your balance and history.
- To improve reliability and prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal data and do not use your content to train models.
Where data lives
Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) in the European Union. Model providers process prompts and media transiently to produce outputs under their own terms.
Retention and deletion
You can delete outputs, prompts and assets from the app at any time. To delete a workspace or your account entirely, email hello@promptlab.app and we will remove it within 30 days, except billing records we are legally required to keep.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in and no advertising trackers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. Contact hello@promptlab.app to exercise them.
